Simon Nicholson
Simon was the 2000 US Pro Tour Champ! Yes, it was ages ago but he still bangs on about it all the time. Jokes aside... Simon has worked with some of the top kids in pro surfing, and is the English team manager for the ISA World Junior Champs in May 2024.
What he really loves is seeing someone get hooked for the first time. He hopes to give back as much as he can to a sport that has defined his life.
Tom Sherrin
Tom has been working as a surf instructor, surf hire expert for nearly 7 years at Downend.
Hes a natural athlete with a beautiful mullet. Ex pro skier and moto x madman... Tom has been instructing extreme sports for over 10 years, from the mountains to the sea, and the mud inbetween!

Flinn Vipond
A handsome young man that can charm a lady or choke a man with equal ease... Flinn is a strapping young lad who has an awesome attitude and a gentle demeanor. He is an experienced coach and will have you up and riding in no time.

Harris Begg
Hooked from his first wave, aged 3, Harris is happier in the water than he is on dry land.
Following an early win at the U10s Croyde Surf Contest, he turned his back on the limelight and has since surfed for the love across Europe, the Maldives and of course, North Devon.
An experienced instructor, Harris is keen to infect the young and young at heart with his passion. His Colgate smile and love of a good conversation will ensure lessons are as friendly and fun as they are high energy.
